Went for a long bike ride with my hubby today, along the river and the canal. First time riding in that area. I couldn't believe how many turtles we saw sunning themselves on dread tree branches. We were riding all afternoon. Round trip 14.9 miles, the farthest we have ridden yet. What a fun thing to do on the holiday weekend. Seems like biking is the new hobby, so many people riding, single people, couples and families. A lot of dog walkers along the way too. Biking is so much fun, you get good exercise and it's fun to do~

Morning Glories~

Up early this morning, thanks to my cats! I guess it's a good thing though, so I can get more stuff done before it gets too hot. Transplanted my Heavenly Blue Morning Glory seedlings by the front porch, light post and back yard trellis. Have  few more that need homes. Going to start another batch of Morning Glory seeds, this time a deep purple color.  They will look pretty along the fence. I'm going to take photographs to see how fast they grow!I'm hoping to get to the garden center this weekend and buy more plants and hopefully the flea market on Sunday for even more and some good bargains. This year I'm going to make time to plant all the flowers my heart wants.

Spring Morning~

A beautiful spring morning. Spent some time in the garden this morning tending to my newly planted flowers. Divided and moved perennial plants all over the garden last weekend to have more blooms this summer. Some of my favorite ones are pink cone flowers, the butterflies love them. I bought a few different colors late last summer and I can't wait to see them bloom this year. It's going to be hot and humid today so I wanted to enjoy the garden early~
